Chianti classico

We are located in the heart of Tuscany, in one of the world's most important wine-producing areas. Our winery, surrounded entirely by Sangiovese vineyards, overlooks the magnificent medieval village of Radda in Chianti

Radda in Chianti is one of the nine municipalities that produce Chianti Classico DOCG. Located in the province of Siena, it has a total of approximately 700 hectares of vineyards immersed in a dense and luxuriant woodland landscape. It is a natural environment rich in fauna and crossed by country paths bordered by typically Tuscan dry-stone walls. Radda's climate is among the coolest in the production zone: low temperatures and significant fluctuations between daytime and nighttime temperatures create the ideal conditions for the cultivation of Sangiovese.

Our wines are the faithful transposition of the characteristics of each soil and each vintage. Every wine is the product of its harvest, of precise agronomic choices and of very careful selection of the grapes both in the vineyard and in the cellar.

The soil and climatic characteristics and the conformation of the terrain give our wines definite and recognisable characteristics: freshness and complexity, very elegant aromas and great aromatic breadth.

Long, soft fermentations and macerations in steel, which can last up to a month; vinification managed by vineyard or parcel, kept separate until bottling and blending; use of large barrels containing up to 60 hectolitres and 500-litre tonneaux; long, patient bottle ageing: this is the genesis of our wines, elegant, important and deeply territorial.
